The Opportunity

You will receive comprehensive, hands-on training from leading specialists in the field of Neurology and Neuro-ophthalmology. Because this is a highly specialized niche, no prior neuro-ophthalmology experience is required—we will provide the training you need to become an expert in evaluating and managing patients with visual problems related to the nervous system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed neurological and neuro-ophthalmic exams.
• Assist in diagnosing and managing conditions such as migraines, optic neuritis, ischemic optic neuropathy, IIH, unexplained visual loss, diplopia, neuromuscular diseases such as Myasthenia Gravis, autoimmune diseases such as MS, NMO, and MOGAD to name a few.
• Order and interpret in house diagnostic tests including MRI, EEG, VEP, ERG, OCT, visual fields.
• Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans in collaboration with our attending physicians.
• Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment options, and disease management.

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (APRN/NP) license in the state of Arizona.
• Current DEA registration (or eligible to obtain).
• A strong desire to learn and specialize in a rigorous, rewarding medical niche.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
• New graduates with a strong interest in neurology or ophthalmology are welcome and encouraged to apply!

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $120,000- 140,000 per year.
• Bonus Structure: Attractive performance-based bonuses to reward your hard work and clinical efficiency.
