Operations Administrator

St. Mary's Food Bank is currently seeking an Operations Administrator for our busy Warehouse in Phoenix. The Operations Administrator assists in the Supervision of warehouse staff responislbe for loading and unloading trailers, receiving and transferring product, order filling and putting away of pallets, and assisting with other functions in the facility. Other duties include performing quality control checks of product, proper inventory control and product rotation. The operations administrator is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized facility. This position is also the recognized warehouse forklift trainer. This position mus be able to proficiently receive inventory, and transfer product using the food bank's Warehouse Management System.

Position Responsiblities:

• Responsible for the accurate scheduling, receiving, weighing, staging, and transfering of all food bank products.
• Responsible for the accurate fufillment of Agency, CSFP, TEFAP, Internal Transfers, Gleaners, and any and all other types of orders created at the food bank.
• Responsible for maintaining of all applicable Food Safety Standards, Maintains all A2H, Health Department, and St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance safety, sanitation, and operational standards.
• Ensures the proper storage and rotation of all proudcts within the coolers, freezers, and dry storage areas.
• Ensureas that all power equipment is properly maintained.
• Recognaized facility forklift trainer, mus thave ability to attain forklift trainer certification.
• Supports the Inventory programs and Transportation Departments as needed.
• Monitors and controls the discarding of all waste, factoring in the possible use of food for other purposes.
• Maintains a clean and safe warehouse enviornment at all times.
• Completes daily, weekly and montly reports as needed.
• Responsible for continuous improvement and cost reduction strategies.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of two years demonstrated and successful warehouse lead or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Software, as well as Warehouse Management system computer experience, forklift certified, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multi-task.
