Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing a friendly first point of contact. Manage reservations and seating to optimize flow and minimize wait times while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Coordinate with servers and floor staff to ensure timely table turnover and clear communication about guest needs. Answer phone calls and respond to basic inquiries about hours, availability, and services. Maintain the host station and entry area—keep menus, signage, and waiting areas neat and presentable. Monitor and manage waitlists, provide accurate wait time estimates, and update guests on their status. Assist with light administrative tasks and support opening or closing duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills; friendly and professional demeanor. Ability to stand and move for extended periods during shifts. Basic organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Preferred Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or customer-facing roles. Familiarity with reservation or point-of-sale systems. Multilingual abilities or additional customer service training. Interest in career growth within hospitality or operations.
