Structural Project Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Structural Project Engineer to join our team in Scottsdale, Arizona . This full-time position provides an exciting opportunity to manage both commercial and residential structural consulting projects. The ideal candidate combines technical project expertise with client-facing coordination, overseeing projects from early scope development through final documentation and delivery.

Based in Scottsdale , this role involves guiding engineering workflows, collaborating with design professionals and contractors, and ensuring construction documents are accurate, clear, and constructible. Projects include new construction, remodels, tenant improvements, and structural evaluations of existing buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural consulting projects from initiation to closeout.
• Develop detailed proposals, scopes of work, and service estimates for structural engineering services.
• Coordinate with engineers, drafters, contractors, architects, and municipal reviewers.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, deliverables, and scope adjustments.
• Review structural drawings and documentation for accuracy, clarity, and constructability.
• Serve as the primary client contact, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Support preparation and revision of structural calculations and construction documents.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule.

Requirements

• Experience in structural engineering project management, estimating, or consulting environments.
• Strong understanding of structural systems, construction documentation, and engineering processes.
• Ability to manage multiple commercial and residential projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
