Your New Job Job Summary: Our operating unit provides underground utility services, and we are looking for a AreaManagerto join our team. This position requires organization, timeliness, accuracy and great focus to detail and safety. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duty functions. Manage multiple Construction Manager. Maintain schedule and provide weekly updates. Manager costs and budgets. Report production numbers daily. Ensure that all maintenance tickets issued are handled in correct procedures as expected bycustomer. Ensure managers have scheduled an appropriate numberof FOPS Maintenance techsto handle the expectedworkload. Ensure all company standards including safety, quality, production, and ethics are met. Complete all associated paperwork within the outlinedperiods. Meet with the customer and resolveissues the customer may have. You will be expected to be available before and after regularhours and during any timethat you have techs scheduled. Manage resources to handle any fiber optic issue on existing plant. Help dispatch resources on major fiber hits or planned fiber maintenance. REQUIRED SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS: Fiber placing and splicing knowledge is REQUIRED. Drop placing experience is a plus. Previous experience with Microsoft Office Excel Previous experience in Project and People Management Good with time management Very Organized Great communication skills Previous experience in the telecom, utility, construction industry, including FOPS Maintenance ATTENDANCE PUNCTUALITY:Daily and exemplary attendance and punctuality is required for this position.
