Administrative Coordinator (Phoenix-Based)

Location: Phoenix, AZ (2 days onsite/3 days remote – schedule may vary based on operational needs).
Compensation: $575/week flat rate.
Position Type: Independent Contractor.
Schedule: 32 hours a week.
Goodson National Trucking Company has been a trusted leader in logistics and fleet management for over two decades. We are seeking a seasoned, self-driven Administrative Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and is ready to take ownership of this pivotal role.
This position requires more than administrative skill — it demands mental sharpness, organizational mastery, and professional presence. The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver who finds satisfaction in making systems work, managing competing priorities, and ensuring seamless communication between internal teams, drivers, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily operational activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across driver, partner, and vendor communications.
- Manage documentation, scheduling, reporting, and digital recordkeeping within company systems.
- Support the leadership team with logistics, correspondence, and process tracking.
- Monitor task completion and follow-ups through platforms like ClickUp, Microsoft To Do, or SharePoint.
- Maintain a professional and responsive presence across phone, email, and virtual meetings.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational needs.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of administrative coordination experience (trucking, logistics, or vendor-based operations preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced technology skills – proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and adaptable to new systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with a polished, professional tone.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and consistently deliver results.
- Reliable, accountable, and eager to contribute to a long-term team environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Prior exposure to trucking, transportation, or logistics operations.
- Experience supporting senior leadership or managing multiple concurrent workflows.
- Familiarity with driver settlements, dispatch coordination, or vendor invoicing (a plus, not required).
