Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist opportunity is available in Phoenix, AZ for a contract position serving educational settings. This role is ideal for professionals skilled in school psychology, dedicated to supporting student development and mental health within school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students’ needs
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Assist with crisis intervention and provide guidance on behavioral management strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- Licensed or credentialed as a school psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and guidelines
