As an Assembly Mechanic - Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling components and subassemblies according to detailed specifications and quality standards. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our products are built accurately and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.
You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Kingman, AZ location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of Honeywell's products by performing precise assembly tasks, following safety protocols, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the manufacturing floor. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Assemble mechanical and electrical components following work instructions and blueprints.
- Inspect parts and assemblies for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to company safety policies.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly equipment used in production processes.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and work orders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and inspection techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new assembly techniques and processes.
- Basic problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
