Position Details:
A private client is seeking an experienced and visionary Program Director to lead the setup and launch of a new luxury, high-end, preventative senior care residence in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is an immediate hire for a hands-on leader who can build and oversee operations from the ground up. The residence will offer an all-inclusive, resort-style experience focused on wellness, longevity, and concierge-level care. The role offers the option to live on-site in a separate casita.

Family / Property Overview:
The property is a beautifully designed, high-end home featuring five private resident suites (one resident per room), along with premium amenities including a pool, spa, and thoughtfully designed indoor/outdoor living spaces. The vision is to create a boutique, preventative care environment that blends luxury hospitality with personalized medical and wellness services, including holistic nutrition and concierge healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the full setup and launch of the assisted living residence, ensuring readiness for opening as soon as possible
• Obtain and/or maintain all necessary licensing, including Assisted Living Certification through the Arizona Department of Health Services
• Develop and implement all operational systems, policies, and procedures
• Design and execute a high-end, preventative wellness program, including nutrition, lifestyle, and care plans
• Recruit, hire, and manage staff, including chefs, nurses, caregivers, and additional support personnel
• Coordinate with medical professionals to establish concierge-style healthcare services
• Ensure the property is fully optimized for senior safety, accessibility, and comfort without compromising luxury standards
• Oversee daily operations once open, maintaining exceptional service and care standards
• Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and ongoing property needs
• Create a warm, engaging, and hospitality-driven environment for residents

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Program Director, Executive Director, or similar leadership role within assisted living, senior care, or luxury hospitality environments
• Strong knowledge of Arizona assisted living regulations and licensing requirements (or experience obtaining certification)
• Experience launching or scaling a new program, facility, or business is highly preferred
• Background in wellness, preventative care, hospitality, or concierge services is a plus
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
• Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a startup environment
• Passionate about redefining senior living through a luxury, preventative care model

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain or currently hold Assisted Living Certification in Arizona
• Strong understanding of senior care best practices, safety standards, and compliance
• Experience hiring and managing multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed during setup and launch
• Open to living on-site (preferred but not required)

Compensation:
Salary is dependent on experience (DOE) and will be competitive for the right candidate. Housing may be provided for a live-in arrangement.
