Healthforce by TLC
Tucson, AZ
Embark on a dynamic journey as a Travel Occupational Therapist in Tucson, Arizona, beginning 03/16/2026. This multi-week assignment offers you the chance to apply your OT expertise across diverse patient populations, helping individuals reclaim independence, functional skills, and meaningful daily living. Your influence will extend from acute care and inpatient rehab to outpatient and community settings, guiding clients through adaptive strategies, activity modification, and empowering home-based routines. In addition to professional impact, you’ll enjoy the chance to experience Arizona’s remarkable landscapes—sunlit desert trails, vibrant sunsets over the mountains, and the stately beauty of the Sonoran Desert—which can refresh your practice and perspective during time off. The opportunity blends high-quality clinical work with personal renewal in a state renowned for its warm, welcoming communities and outdoor adventures.

Location benefits are compelling. Tucson is a thriving hub that blends rich cultural heritage with modern amenities, renowned for its thriving arts scene, outdoor recreation, and a welcoming, diverse population. You’ll experience a supportive professional environment with access to strong OT networks, ongoing education, and collaborative interdisciplinary teams. For those who crave exploration, this role also opens pathways to assignments across the United States, expanding your professional footprint and exposing you to a wide array of clinical populations, payer landscapes, and care settings. Whether you prefer a steady base in the Southwest or the opportunity to rotate through different regions, you’ll build versatility while maintaining the stability of guaranteed hours. Arizona’s serene winters, accessible outdoor pursuits, and welcoming communities create an ideal backdrop for delivering exceptional care with balance and vitality.

Role specifics and benefits: In this OT role, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations, establish individualized treatment plans, and deliver interventions that improve independence in activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living. You’ll design and implement therapeutic activities, fine-motor and hand-therapy programs, cognitive-retraining strategies, and adjustments to environments and equipment to maximize safety and function. Collaboration is central: you’ll partner with physical therapy, speech-language pathology, nursing, and social work to coordinate care, track progress, and optimize discharges. Documentation and outcome measurement will be integral, with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and patient- and family-centered education. This position presents robust opportunities for professional growth within the occupational therapy discipline, including exposure to diverse clinical cases, mentorship, and potential specialty development.

The benefits package is competitive. You’ll receive weekly pay in the range of $2,236-$2,280, with guaranteed hours at 40.0 per week, ensuring financial predictability while you focus on care. A signing bonus or performance-based bonus is available where applicable, and housing assistance is provided to ease transition and support your focus on clinical impact. There are strong extension opportunities beyond the initial assignment, enabling you to deepen your expertise in OT across settings. Comprehensive support is a core pillar of the program: travel and clinical teams provide 24/7 assistance, ensuring you have expert help at any hour, wherever your assignments take you. You’ll benefit from a structured orientation, clinical resources, and access to credentialing and continuing education that align with your career goals.

Company values: Our organization is devoted to empowering OT professionals, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and resilience. We’re committed to career advancement, ongoing mentorship, and a supportive work environment that values your expertise, respects your work-life balance, and celebrates your contributions to patients and communities. You’ll join a network that prioritizes ethical practice, clinical excellence, and the well-being of staff as essential components of delivering outstanding care.
