Key Responsibilities for Success

• Pipe Installation : Lay, join, align, wrap, and seal pipe sections including PVC, concrete, and other materials for water/sewer mains and storm drain.
• Crew Collaboration : Work effectively with crew members to execute pipe installation plans under the direction of the Foreman.
• Tool Operation : Operate a variety of hand and power tools, such as drills and hammers, to complete utility installations.
• Physical Labor : Perform rigorous physical labor and site preparation tasks as instructed by the supervisor.
• Grade Management : Shoot grade and utilize laser levels or transit equipment to ensure all pipe sections are set to the proper elevation and pitch.

What You Bring to the Table

• 1 Years verifiable experience and knowledge in wet utilities installation.
• Experience working around heavy equipment.
• Training in trench safety and confined space.
• A willingness to learn, grow, and take direction from experienced crew members
• Team-first mindset—no task is too small if it helps the crew
• A keen awareness of your surroundings and commitment to staying safe on busy job sites

Rothrock Civil Construction is seeking a skilled Pipelayer to install and maintain underground utility pipelines for water, sewer, storm drain, and other infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with trenching, pipe assembly, and site safety, and take pride in completing work efficiently, accurately, and according to project plans and specifications.
