Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Municipal Project Manager to lead civil infrastructure projects from concept through construction. This role is responsible for technical execution, regulatory compliance, client relations, budget management, and team leadership across water, sewer, stormwater, roadway, and site development projects.
Key Responsibilities

Direct the design and delivery of municipal water, sewer, stormwater, roadway, and site development projects

Prepare feasibility studies, basis of design reports, and final construction documents

Act as the primary client liaison, including contract negotiations and relationship management

Develop and oversee project budgets, schedules, and work plans

Coordinate with contractors, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies

Ensure quality assurance/quality control and technical accuracy of all deliverables

Mentor and supervise engineers, EITs, and CAD staff
-
Support proposal development and business growth initiatives
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
-
Arizona Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain within 6 months

8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, including at least 3 years managing municipal infrastructure projects

Strong background in water, sewer, stormwater, and roadway design

Proficiency with Civil3D, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, and StormCAD
-
In-depth knowledge of municipal codes and MAG standards

Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multiple concurrent projects

Excellent technical writing and client communication skills
