Requirements
What You’ll Do as an Electronic Systems Technician
Your day‑to‑day work will be diverse, hands‑on, and technically engaging. You’ll collaborate with experienced project managers to install and service advanced commercial electronic systems from the ground up — following plans, blueprints, and industry codes.
Typical tasks include:
· Installing, wiring, and programming access control panels, card readers, and locks
· Installing, wiring, and programming video cameras and recording devices
· Installing and terminating low voltage and fiber optic cabling
· Servicing and troubleshooting low voltage systems
· Providing Systems Training to customers
· Tracking assets, materials, and work notes via mobile app
Is This Role for You?
We’re looking for people who:
· Have 2 years recent experience installing access control and camera systems
· Are self‑motivated and eager to build a career in the electronic security/low‑voltage field
· Are comfortable working independently or as part of a team
· Can read plans, follow a scope of work, and ask questions when needed
· Have strong organization skills and can follow procedures
· Have a passion for technologies like access control, surveillance, security, electronics, and networking
· Can pass a background check, drug screen, and maintain a clean driving record
Travel is not required — but optional opportunities exist if interested.
