Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Capture and document high-level product requirements from customers, internal stakeholders, and regulatory sources.Decompose requirements into functional, interface, and performance specifications for electronics, mechanical systems, and software.Develop and maintain requirement traceability matrices, ensuring alignment from requirements to design artifacts, test cases, and verification activities.Collaborate across disciplines to define subsystem interfaces, manage dependencies, and identify potential conflicts before they impact schedules or performance.Develop and coordinate validation and verification strategies, test methods, and system-level test plans to ensure complete coverage.Support integration and verification of prototypes and production units, analyzing results and recommending design or process improvements.Work closely with internal and contract manufacturing teams to ensure design transfer, production readiness, and manufacturability.Ensure all requirements are traceable to tests and design artifacts, maintaining proper documentation throughout the product lifecycle.Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, failure analysis, and continuous improvement activities to optimize system performance and reliability.Facilitate communication across engineering, program management, quality, and manufacturing teams to align objectives and resolve issues. Combined Salary Range

USD $124,397.00 - USD $138,003.00 /Yr.
