We are seeking a disciplined and safety-conscious Chemical Operator to join our production team in Tempe. You will be responsible for overseeing the processing, mixing, and packaging of chemical products while maintaining strict adherence to environmental and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Monitoring: Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment, including reactors, pumps, and filtration systems.
- Material Handling: Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials according to specific batch sheets and formulas.
- Quality Control: Perform routine sampling and basic lab testing to ensure products meet high-quality specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain precise logs of production data, inventory usage, and safety inspections.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly follow OSHA standards, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hazardous material handling.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, or a high-hazard industrial environment.
- Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, SDS (Safety Data Sheets), and complex batch instructions.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a production environment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; specialized certifications in chemical handling are a plus.
