**Description**
The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician (MRT) will be responsible for the following:
- Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment (Ex: conveyors)
- Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures
- Perform battery changes, and preventive maintenance on batteries
- Enter downtime data in daily log, complete PM sheets
- Electrical, knowledge of basics components
- Troubleshoot and identify problems with equipment
- Track and store the departments inventory, including spare parts

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
MRTs MUST HAVE at least 2+ years of experience conducting quality predictive & preventative maintenance procedures.
- 2+ years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE) or automated conveyor systems and controls
- 2+ years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading
- 2+ year knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
- 2+ year experience of following and demonstrating safety standards
- 1+ year experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
**Pay:** $29.50 an hour with ability for a $1-3 increase once direct.
**Education** : High school or equivalent diploma
**Preferred Industries &** **Equipment** : Candidate from Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, Industrial industries performing maintenance on complex systems and industrial equipment (running diagnostics, inspections, troubleshooting, repairing, creating work orders), specifically experience with conveyors)
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Able to troubleshoot basic input and output function of building operations
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Willingness to learn and grow within Amazon RME
- Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards
- Associates or higher degree grom a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- 2+ years apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
- 2+ of experience working with PLC based controls systems
- Experience with robotic operation and maintenance
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
