Position: Part-Time Pediatric Dental Hygienist
Location: Tucson, AZ
A well-established, patient-centered pediatric dental practice in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Part-Time Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join their friendly and supportive team.
Schedule:
- Thursdays and Fridays
- Part-time position
Compensation:
- Starting at $45 per hour , with potential for higher pay based on experience.
Position Overview:
The Pediatric Dental Hygienist will provide high-quality preventive dental care while creating a positive, fun, and comfortable experience for children and their families. This role is ideal for a hygienist who enjoys working with kids and values teamwork in a warm, upbeat environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, prophylaxis, and preventive treatments for pediatric patients.
- Take and review dental radiographs.
- Provide oral hygiene instruction tailored to children and parents.
- Apply fluoride and sealants as appropriate.
- Educate families on proper oral health habits and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Collaborate closely with dentists and clinical staff to ensure excellent patient care.
Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
- Pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Gentle chairside manner and ability to work well with children.
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.
