A retail pharmacy team is needed to support several pharmacies in the Tucson, AZ area. The opportunity is ideal for experienced pharmacists seeking per diem work with flexibility in scheduling. These roles involve covering call outs, vacations, and volume spikes across multiple busy locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional dispensing and patient care services in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Support pharmacy operations with accuracy and efficiency, maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Participate in training sessions to become proficient with site-specific systems and procedures.
• Collaborate with technician staff; some smaller locations operate pharmacist-only, requiring additional independent workflow management.
• Utilize QS1 pharmacy software for prescription processing.
• Maintain required certifications including immunization privilege and current BLS card.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong clinical and communication skills to deliver excellent patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Immunization certification and BLS card required.
• Flexibility to work multiple pharmacies as part of the per diem team.

Work Hours:

• Pharmacy operations are typically Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some locations open until 8 p.m.
• Part-time availability, approximately 2-4 days per week, preferred.

Additional Details:

• Pharmacies serve 100-125 prescriptions daily, supported by skilled technician teams.
