Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85042 9 (64 Units)
Salary: $22-25/Hr
Job Type: Full Time
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring the upkeep of various property systems, including pools, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, and general apartment maintenance. This role ensures that maintenance requests are handled promptly, residents are informed of any delays, and the community remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and assign tasks to the maintenance team.
Maintain favorable relationships with approved vendors
Ensure that maintenance costs remain within the scope of the budget.
Oversee the repair and maintenance of various property systems.
Ensure timely completion of maintenance requests and resident notification of any delays.
Respond to on-call emergencies.
Assist in maintaining property grounds, including trash pick-up, pool furniture cleaning, curb painting, and light replacement.
Inspect the property regularly and report deficiencies.
Work with the rental office to schedule vacant units for refurbishing and occupancy.
Assist with resident functions and public relations/customer service.
Ensure residents have a clean, safe, and well-maintained community.
Handle accident and emergency reporting, both to the corporate office and within the company.
Implement preventative maintenance programs and ensure adherence to equipment guidelines and safety regulations.
Maintain communication with the corporate office, including reporting on the feasibility of outside maintenance and requisitioning necessary materials.
Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
2 years experience in a maintenance supervisor role.
Ability to lift, carry, climb, step, kneel, and work outdoors, with potential for overtime and weekend work.
Ability to read/comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate effectively, reason, analyze, and make decisions under pressure.
Desired Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent
2 or more years experience in the maintenance field and/or supervisory experience
