Job Overview
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
- Answer questions about menu items, daily specials, and ingredients.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner.
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Refill beverages, provide additional items, and accommodate special requests.
- Process guest payments accurately and handle cash, credit card, and gift card transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
- Set up and reset tables according to restaurant standards.
- Assist with side work, including stocking supplies, rolling silverware, and cleaning duties.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
- Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient service.
- Help create a welcoming dining experience that encourages repeat business.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
- Support restaurant operations by assisting in other areas when needed.
