Bartender

As bartender, you’ll be crafting delicious cocktails while engaging with guests to provide memorable experiences. You should find enjoyment in creating new and innovative cocktails, enhancing flavor profiles and pairing food and drinks. You will be successful if you're welcoming and personable and always seeking ways to exceed patrons' needs and expectations. As a bartender you'll have a responsibility to our patrons and their safety and must have proper certification and a thorough understanding of current laws. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Create consistent, well-balanced cocktails and specialty drinks according to recipe standards while adapting to guest preferences.

• Operate the bar efficiently during all shifts, including set-up, breakdown, and maintaining bar mise en place.

• Provide exceptional guest service: greet, take orders, recommend pairings with menu items, and manage difficult situations with professionalism.

• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately, process payments, and follow cash-out procedures.

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, perform regular stock counts, and report ordering needs to management.

• Ensure full compliance with alcohol service laws and company policies, including checking IDs and promoting responsible consumption.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar area, coordinating with kitchen and floor staff to support smooth service.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a fast-casual or full-service restaurant or bar.

• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, basic wine and beer service, and cocktail presentation.

• Palm to fast-paced service with excellent multitasking and time-management skills.

• Valid alcohol service certification (TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or local equivalent) and ability to verify legal drinking age.

• Reliable availability for nights, weekends, and some holidays.

• Clear communication skills and a guest-first attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with craft cocktail programs and developing seasonal drinks.

• Familiarity with Mexico City–style flavors and food/beverage pairings.

• Prior experience in a neighborhood, family-run restaurant environment.

• Basic Spanish language skills to enhance guest interactions.

• Food safety certification and supervisory or training experience.
