Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (5x8 days); no weekend or holidays
Setting: outpatient women’s health clinic within a health system; travel temporary assignment

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care for outpatient OB/GYN patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation.
- Triage patient concerns via phone and in-person visits; apply clinical protocols and escalate to the physician when appropriate.
- Administer medications, perform standard nursing procedures, assist with minor OB/GYN procedures, and monitor patient status and vitals.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to maintain efficient patient flow and high-quality care; document thoroughly in the electronic health record.
- Educate patients on prenatal care, contraception, post-care instructions, and health maintenance; reinforce safety and follow-up plans.
- May float to other departments within the health system as qualified to support patient load or tasks, while maintaining scope of practice.

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Women’s Health; strong critical thinking and triage skills; clinic experience mandatory; knowledge of triage and ESI preferred
- Ability to work in an outpatient women’s health clinic setting; capable of adapting to occasional cross-department coverage
- Education: nursing program completion leading to RN licensure
- Ability to obtain/maintain all required credentials and comply with orientation/compliance deadlines
