Systems Engineer - Level 4
Ensure that the Systems Engineering effort on the GMD Booster Program complies with all internal standards and guidelines. Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity Working at Northrop Grumman is more than just a paycheck. 8 Years with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of Systems Engineering tools experience (DOORS or other requirements traceability tool) Ability to acquire DoD Secret level security clearance Experience with requirement tracing/verification from customer requirements through sub-component requirements Ability to self-prioritize tasking and perform work without appreciable direction Strong experienced-based and academic foundation in Systems Engineering fundamentals. Experience with testing with hardware in a lab Experience with Northrop Grumman Systems Engineering standards Experience with updating/maintaining Software Version Description Documents (SVDDs) System testing and launch operations experience Demonstrated experience leading a team of engineers Experience with Agile development environments; experience with JIRA The candidate should possess strong technical problem solving, written and verbal communication skills to generate and document system level launch vehicle requirements, perform vehicle performance assessments and participate in system level verification/data review activities.
