Special Loans Supervisor - Remote | WFH

What You'll Do: Supervise Special Loans Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Special Loans department, including assumptions, partial releases, SCRA, ARM, recasts, and more.
Ensure System Maintenance: Oversee maintenance on various systems and applications for Special Loans.
Solve Complex Problems: Use sensible resolutions and practical applications to solve a variety of problems.
Manage Vendor Relationships: Liaise between third-party vendors and monitor quality control.
Drive Compliance: Ensure processes meet investor, GSE, and CFPB guidelines.
Conduct Audits and Reviews: Perform audit reviews of system-generated reports and special projects.
Develop Action Plans: Draft and remediate action plans, and drive the progression of the Special Loans team.
Monitor Performance: Review and complete monthly scorecards for staff, department metrics, and KPIs.
Provide Excellent Service: Support clients, customers, and internal departments in a timely manner.
Maintain Confidentiality: Protect operations by following privacy policies and keeping information confidential.
Manage Reports and Queues: Review and manage exception reports, control reports, and daily queues.
Train and Develop Staff: Coach and train employees to improve their skillsets.
Lead Team Meetings: Hold frequent team meetings and report progress to superiors.
What We're Looking For: Management Experience: 3 years of management experience.
Mortgage Servicing Experience: 3 years of proven mortgage, banking, or finance servicing experience.
Special Loans Expertise: Proven expertise in managing Mortgage Servicing Special Loans.
Technical Skills: MSP platform environment experience (preferred), proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to problem-solve and research issues in a detail-oriented manner.
Organizational Skills: Excellent listening and organizational skills.
Customer Service Focus: Client-centered focus and sub-servicing focus.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing situations and make sound decisions.
