### **Position Overview**
The **Claims Intern** will support the Claims and Risk Management team in handling, organizing, and monitoring claims related to insurance, guest incidents, employee workplace issues, and vendor-related matters. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in hospitality management, risk management, insurance, or business administration.
This is a **remote internship** that allows you to gain real-world corporate experience while contributing to an established restaurant group.

### **Key Responsibilities**
* Assist with intake, logging, and tracking of guest, employee, and vendor claims.
* Review incident reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
* Help prepare claim files, documentation, and summaries for internal use and insurance partners.
* Conduct research on industry best practices, claim resolution strategies, and applicable regulations.
* Support the claims team in communication with insurance providers, legal representatives, and internal departments.
* Maintain accurate digital records of claims using company systems.
* Generate weekly and monthly reports on claim status and trends.
* Provide administrative support such as filing, data entry, and document organization.
* Participate in virtual team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

### **Qualifications**
* Must be a **U.S. Citizen** or possess a **valid U.S. Work Permit**.
* Current student or recent graduate in **Business Administration, Risk Management, Hospitality Management, Finance, Insurance, or a related field**.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); familiarity with claims or CRM systems a plus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
