About Us:

Flagstaff MT RV & Campground features a fully stocked on-site market offering snacks, beverages, camping supplies, beer and wine, and daily essentials for guests and travelers. We're looking for a Retail Manager to run the day-to-day operations of the market, manage inventory, and ensure a top-tier customer experience.

Position Summary:

The Retail Manager is responsible for the operation, staffing, and profitability of the campground market. From overseeing inventory to managing a small team and providing excellent service, this role is perfect for someone who’s organized, friendly, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all retail operations, including opening/closing, sales, stocking, and merchandising

• Monitor inventory levels and place timely orders with vendors

• Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with health and safety standards

• Supervise and schedule team members, provide training, and ensure performance standards

• Process transactions and manage cash handling procedures accurately

• Oversee beer and wine sales in compliance with Arizona regulations

• Work with campground management on seasonal product offerings and promotions

• Provide friendly and helpful service to campground guests and local shoppers

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of retail or convenience store management experience

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Knowledge of POS systems and inventory software

• Familiar with food safety and liquor sales compliance (or willing to learn)

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed

• Reliable, honest, and able to work independently and as a team leader
