ATTORNEY FOR PERSONAL INJURY LAW FIRM - (Arizona)

We are an established personal injury firm experiencing steady growth and looking for a litigation attorney to join us and to grow with the firm.

The attorney will be litigating and managing different types of personal injury cases ranging from car accidents, trucking accidents, slip and falls, etc. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding firm and gain tremendous experience in litigation. Candidates will be selected based on their experience and qualifications.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties will include: Drafting written discovery, defending and taking depositions, attending mediation, making court appearances and handling all other aspects of the litigation process under the supervision and guidance of the principal attorney from the lawsuit stage until trial including but not limited to assisting and participating with the lead attorney in the trial e.g doing opening statements, direct of witnesses etc.

1. Demonstrated interest in litigation through past work experience, involvement in plaintiff's bar associations, and viewing case proceedings such as depositions, hearings, and trials
2. Self-motivated to seek out assignments and offers suggestions
3. Good organizational skills in providing regular updates on case assignments
4. Compassionate, empathetic, and patient with potential clients and established clients
5. Responsive, well-spoken, and articulate in communicating with team members, clients, opposing counsel, and the court. This includes being responsive to questions and respecting other people's time by crafting concise and informative emails.
6. Critical-thinker in providing solutions to difficult situations
7. Loves to learn about legal matters and our clients' lives
8. Works well in a team, is open to collaboration and critique, and wants to help others succeed
9. Proficient in the use of Outlook, Dropbox, and FileVine

COMPENSATION:

Competitive salary compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Microsoft Office: 2 years (Preferred)
• Personal injury law: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Arizona Bar License (Required)

Work Location: In person and/or Remote
