Midas Hospitality is seeking a Cook and a cashier to join our team at the Vib hotel located in Tempe, AZ. This position will provide exceptional food service to hotel restaurant guests while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Greets and takes food and drink orders from restaurant customers, serving the orders and accommodating special needs/requests.
• Memorizes menu items, recipes and daily specials in order to answer questions and make recommendation to customers.
• Clear tables during function (pre-bus)
• Complete assigned sidework.
• Food prep and service in accordance with Health Dept. regulations and guidelines.
• Correctly operating all foodservice equipment and proper food handling procedures
• Accurate sales transactions and payment processing
• Communicate with other staff and guests in a courteous and professional manner
• Inventory control and daily restocking
• Adhere to all Cousins Maine Lobster & Midas Hospitality policies and procedures
• Facility upkeep including daily and continuous cleaning of concession stands and equipment
• Any other related duty as assigned by the F&B Supervisor, Assistant General Manager & General Manager

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, as scheduled days and times may vary based on need
• Must be be friendly, outgoing and willing to go above and beyond
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
