Join our team and begin your new adventure with Desert Hand and Physical Therapy today! **Job Description** **We Are Seeking:** Desert Hand and Physical Therapy has an immediate opportunity for a full-time **Bilingual(Spanish) Medical Receptionist (required)** to join our fun and talented team. **Job Duties:** + Greeting patients and providing outstanding customer service + Coordinating the care for each patient from initial evaluation to discharge + Answering phones + Electronic scheduling + Data entry + Verifying current personal and financial information + Verifying insurance and maintaining authorizations necessary for care + Maintaining patient charts and electronic medical records + Collecting, posting, and depositing patient payments + Faxing, filing, and performing any other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + High school graduate or equivalent + **Must be bilingual in Spanish** + Excellent telephone skills + Proficient in Word and Excel + Preferred experience with Medical Manager, Medisoft, or other medical software + Team player attitude, energetic, with a focus on excellent customer service + Flexibility with hours + Attention to detail + Time management skills + Organization and ability to multi-task **Additional Information** **What you'll get:** + **Compensation: $16- $19 hourly** + Excellent benefits package, including 401k, health, dental, vision, and generous Paid Time Off + Multiple opportunities for professional development, specialization, and leadership + Employee discount plans + Employee Assistance Program (EAP) + Family-friendly work environment We are proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
