Project Manager - Civil Land Development

Location: Mesa, Arizona (In-Office) Salary: $110,000+ (commensurate with experience) Relocation: Considered on a case-by-case basis

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our Mesa, Arizona office. This role will lead the design and development of a wide range of civil/site projects, from commercial and retail to industrial, master-planned communities, and multi-family developments. This is a hands-on, client-facing position that blends technical leadership with team mentorship and project oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional teams in the development of civil engineering designs for land development projects.
• Produce site plans, grading plans, utility layouts, stormwater systems, and roadway designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate and secure necessary project permits while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in civil/site design (10+ years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and Microsoft Office products.
• P.E. license required (Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred but not mandatory if licensed).
• Ability to manage clients and internal teamsthose more technically focused may also be considered as a high-end Project Engineer (paid at PM level).
• Prior experience in commercial, industrial, multi-family, master planning, drainage infrastructure, and private roadway design is ideal.
