Sr. Manager of Nursing Operations
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic Partnership and Leadership:
· Collaborate closely with the CNO to develop and execute strategic initiatives aligned with the organization's clinical goals and objectives.
· Provide high-level strategic analysis, insights, and recommendations to the CNO on emerging healthcare trends, clinical innovations, and best practices.
· Lead strategic planning sessions and drive the implementation of strategic nursing initiatives.
· Operational Excellence:
· Oversee and optimize nursing and clinical operations, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and organizational goals.
· Develop and implement operational standards and processes to enhance efficiency, patient safety, and clinical outcomes.
· Monitor and report on key clinical and operational metrics, driving continuous quality improvement.
· Program and Project Management:
· Lead complex projects and programs, including clinical innovation initiatives, regulatory compliance projects, and technology-driven nursing workflows.
· Facilitate cross-functional coordination, ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives.
· Serve as a central coordinator for critical initiatives, ensuring clear communication and alignment among internal and external stakeholders.
· Clinical Governance and Regulatory Affairs:
· Support oversight of credentialing, licensure, compliance records, and clinical governance frameworks.
· Support regulatory compliance strategies, preparing for audits and inspections, and responding proactively to emerging regulatory requirements.
· Thought Leadership and Communication:
· Assist the CNO in drafting white papers, policy briefs, and industry reports to enhance organizational thought leadership.
· Develop and manage internal and external communications related to nursing and clinical operations.
· Meeting and Event Coordination:
· Plan, coordinate, and execute nursing panels, workshops, conferences, and speaking engagements.
· Compile and distribute meeting notes, action items, and follow-up tasks promptly as needed.
· Facilitate the recruitment, onboarding and execution of the clinical advisory council.
