Description of the role:

The Body Shop Detailer position at Sands Chevrolet Glendale involves meticulously cleaning and preparing vehicles for display and delivery. It requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly washing, buffing, and waxing the exterior of vehicles
• Cleaning and conditioning vehicle interiors including seats, carpet, and upholstery
• Using appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure the highest quality results
• Performing minor cosmetic repairs such as removing scratches
• Inspecting vehicles for any damages or defects and reporting findings to management
• Ensuring vehicles are consistently clean and presentable
• Assisting with other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Prior experience as an automotive detailer or in a similar role is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, bending, and lifting
