As a Locum MD/DO in Radiation Oncology, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver effective treatment plans. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive radiation oncology services to patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans
• Conduct patient consultations and evaluations
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
• Participate in clinical meetings and case discussions
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options and care
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Radiation Oncology
• Active medical license in the state of Arizona
• Strong clinical skills and patient management experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and safety
• Experience in a locum tenens position is a plus
• Schedule: 8a-4p, 2-5 days per week

Shifts are split between two locations

No call requirement

Patient Volume: 12-18 per shift, ~5 consults per week for full-time coverage

Support Staff: MA, radiation therapists, remote dosimetrists

EMR: Epic, Aria

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
