Job Title: Lighting Technician

Job Description

The Technician I will play a crucial role in installing energy conservation lighting projects. This includes ensuring a clean and prepared jobsite, assisting with light fixture assembly and installations, and adhering to safety and procedural guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Work in the safest possible manner while following all guidelines.
• Complete all tasks according to National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines.
• Report to supervisors to receive daily/weekly assignments.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free jobsite.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment to retrofit, replace, and repair lighting fixtures.
• Properly install lamps, ballasts, and other lighting components within various fixture types.
• Match proper materials to work orders and stage correct materials for installation.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks/vans and staging material.
• Maintain all company property provided for the job.
• Interact professionally and respectfully with coworkers and customers.
• Participate in weekly safety meetings and complete all safety training programs.
• Assist in training new and current employees.
• Assist with additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Experience with retrofitting, lighting, and installation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 0 – 3 years of related experience and/or training is preferred.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work safely from ladders and various lifts.
• Mechanical ability is preferred.

This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
