This is about 80% of their work load, the remaining 20% is new custom homes, new small buildings (2 to 3 level apartments), and some small industrial steel buildings. Responsibilities: • Perform engineering design and analysis tasks for bridges and other structures • Prepare reports efficiently in Word and Excel • Participate in occasional bridge site visits and/or assist with bridge inspections • Attend client meetings Requirements: • (2) two to (4) four years' relevant experience, Entry level acceptable if promising to 82K • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering • E.I.T. (P.E. a plus with higher salary) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Highly motivated and hard working • Well organized, stable work history • Leadership qualities with an eagerness to take on responsibility • Software experience - AASHTO Ware BrR load rating, RISA 3D, Bentley Open Bridge, MicroStation, AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, Lpile, Eriksson, Wyoming Box Culvert This description is not a comprehensive listing of activities - other duties or responsibilities may be required of the employee.
