Caregiver Med-Tech

Evergreen Village, a personal assisted living community in Prescott, AZ is now hiring excellent CAREGIVERS & MED TECHS with a passion for helping seniors. We are looking to hire for the following shifts/roles:

- Assistant Caregiver ($18/hour)

- Certified Caregiver/ Med-Tech 2-10 pm

- Wednesday to Sunday

- Sunday to Thursday

- Tuesday to Saturday

- PRN Certified Caregiver Med-Tech (As needed, $28/hour)

A day in the life of an Evergreen caregiver can include:

• Being the first smile our residents will see today.
• Assisting a resident with their daily shower and supporting with getting dressed.
• Providing reminders that exercise class starts at 10am.
• Talking with a resident about their weekend while escorting them to breakfast.
• Delivering medications to residents based on their physician orders.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and implement care/activities of daily living (ADLs) according to the resident service plan
• Respond to resident needs, pendant calls, and other community alarms in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates empathy and develops caring rapport with residents. Promotes resident independence and self-care.
• Delivers care and services in accordance with individual service plan for all assigned residents.
• Maintains accurate and complete records of care delivered.
• Completes incident reports accurately and timely. Understands policies pertaining to safety and infection control and demonstrates practices to control the spread of communicable illnesses. Promotes a clean, orderly, and safe environment. Assist housekeeping and maintenance staff to keep the community and resident property clean.
• Recognizes, responds to, and reports concerns in resident's environment to ensure safety and comfort of resident

Qualifications:

• Qualified applicants would be Certified Assisted Living Caregivers for Arizona. Non-certified applicants are welcome to apply, schedule and wage scale would be adjusted accordingly.
• 1 year prior experience with medications.
• Proven experience as a personal care assistant
• Committed to health & safety
• Reliable
• Excellent communication and people skills

• Physical stamina
• CPR certified, fingerprint card
