Administrator Assistant
Oversees and accountable for all daily operations and for all services in Miss A’s. Administrator will have the authority to manage the facility while developing and implementing programs for best practice outcomes for members and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the qualifications, skills, and knowledge of employees & volunteers meet the job requirements of the job description and the acuity of the members receiving services.
- Oversee all aspects of members and employees.
- Approve employment of positions managed.
- Oversee performance and documentation of new employee orientation, jobs skills and knowledge, human resources related job duties.
- Create/Review intake screening, assessment, safety crisis plan (s), treatment plan(s) and discharge suitable to individual member’s needs and team.
- Responsible for review of member and employee record audits.
- Ensure policy and procedures are followed.
- Modify policy and procedures to reflect daily operations as needed.
- Oversee therapeutic ADLs, group, coaching sessions.
- Complete environmental audits, state audits and insurance audits.
- Responsible for oversight of IADs / ESRs are clinically written, with timely turnaround time.
- Collaborate with member’s team to address concerns and implement the best course of action.
- Participate and host CFTs.
- Communicate updates to team members.
- Oversee and approve time off requests, sick leave, weekly schedules.
- Facilitate monthly meetings with team leads and team.
- Promote opportunities for growth and employee retention adhering to work force development.
- Conduct concurrent reviews with various utilization management teams.
- Ensure members are enrolled in specified therapy services and resources to meet member needs.
- Review and accept referral packets.
- Coordinate conference line/language line as needed.
- Assist in creation and reviews of house manager(s) and senior house manager.
- Friends of Foster requests and events / OCJ kids requests and events
Qualifications/Education:
- Minimum 2 years of directing and monitoring a behavioral residential facility operating 24/7
- Minimum of 2 years working with children
- High School Diploma
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Continuing Education
Requirements:
- On- call (rotations)
- Excellent organizational skills / multi-tasking
- Trustworthy to uphold confidentiality - HIPPA
- Able to effectively communicate policy & procedures to personnel in a training environment
- Excellent communication skills with team members, member, and member’s CFT teams
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills
- Be a mentor to all team members and residential members
- CPI or Prevention and Support – Required if no staff with training on floor
- Fingerprint Clearance Card – Required
- Negative TB Test if working with kids 8 hours or more per week
- Hands on CPR and First Aid – Required if no staff with training on floor
- Trained in medication administration
