Summary: Title21 Health Solutions is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Software Release Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Software Release Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the timely release of our software products, ensuring smooth deployment, and coordinating efforts across various teams. This position will require strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of software development processes.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, manage, and optimize the end-to-end release process for all software products, ensuring timely and quality releases.
- Collaborate with software engineering, product management, and software implementation teams to plan and execute release schedules.
- Define release milestones, schedules, and deliverables, and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions during release cycles.
- Establish and maintain release management best practices, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Facilitate release planning meetings, retrospectives, and post-release evaluations to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitor release progress and address any issues or roadblocks that may arise during the release cycle.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper documentation, training, and support materials are available for new releases.
- Serve as a point of contact for release-related inquiries and escalations, both internally and externally.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in release management and incorporate best practices into our processes.
- Support and manage sprints within release cycles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or other healthcare IT related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a software release manager or in a similar role, managing multiple concurrent software development projects to timely release.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
- Scrum Master certification preferred.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
- Experience working with software engineering, product management, and software implementation teams.
- Proficiency in release management tools and version control systems (e.g., Git, Jira, Jenkins).
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Experience in the healthcare industry or regulatory environment is a plus.
