Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED) Travel Position Location: Sahuarita, AZ Job Type: Travel Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3×12s Nights Pay: $2,061/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts) Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Sahuarita, AZ on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide prompt, high-quality care to patients presenting with urgent, emergent, and life-threatening conditions. The ideal candidate is experienced in emergency nursing, thrives in fast-paced environments, and is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide rapid assessment, triage, and treatment for patients with emergent and critical conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to stabilize and care for patients.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and responses to treatments.
• Assist in trauma care, resuscitation, and emergency procedures as needed.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Adhere to infection control standards, safety protocols, and evidence-based practices in emergency nursing.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in Arizona (or compact eligibility).
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent ED nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); PALS and TNCC preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills in high-pressure situations.
• Compassionate and adaptable approach to patient care.
• COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
