Senior Accountant (Sr. Accountant)

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the manufacturing industry, located in Tucson, Arizona. You will be primarily responsible for month-end close, GL account reconciliation and assisting in preparing financial statements. You will also work closely with the CFO, and should be proficient with ERP systems and intermediate in MS Excel. Responsibilities: - Execute month-end close procedures efficiently - Perform GL account reconciliation - Assist in preparation of financial statements - Work closely with the CFO to ensure financial accuracy - Utilize ERP systems to manage accounting tasks - Display proficiency in MS Excel, specifically with pivot tables and v-lookups - Reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance - Record journal entries for the general ledger - Perform account and balance sheet reconciliations. Requirements - Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant - Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations is mandatory - Experience with general ledger and journal entries is required - Proficient in Microsoft Excel - pivot tables, v-lookups - Experience in month-end close processes - Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - High attention to detail and accuracy in work - Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
