Overview
As The Night Kitchen Supervisor you will be responsible for organizing the kitchen's activities. You will be in command of the back of house under the supervision of Kitchen Manager, GM, FOH Managers. The first priority is keeping a happy team with a positive work environment. The next priority is to take care of guests.
Responsibilities
- Control and direct the food preparation process
- Oversee training of new hires
- Oversee the work of subordinates and follow company SOP's
- Keep high moral in the kitchen even when things aren't going right
- Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers
Requirements:
- Must be 18+ years of age or older
- 1+ years in equivalent postion.
- Degree in Culinary science or related certificate preferred
- Manager Food Handler's Card Required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Physical demands of the job include but are not limited to:
- Standing and walking for an 8-hour shift
- Reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying supplies
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds in weight on a semi regular basis
