Job Overview – Contents/Packout Technician

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Contents/Packout Technician to join our growing emergency restoration team. This role focuses on the careful packing, handling, and inventorying of personal property from homes or businesses affected by fire, water, mold, or other disasters. The ideal candidate is organized, physically capable, and compassionate when dealing with clients during stressful situations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently pack out, inventory, and transport contents from affected properties

• Document and label items accurately for storage, cleaning, or disposal

• Handle fragile, valuable, or sentimental items with care and professionalism

• Assist in cleaning and restoring contents , including furniture, electronics, and textiles

• Photograph and log items using inventory software or mobile devices

• Communicate effectively with team members and customers throughout the process

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including vehicles and storage areas

• Follow all safety and contamination control protocols during jobs

• Assist with returning restored contents to clients once restoration is complete
