Overview
SWAN Outpatient Clinic is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN/PTA) to join our neurorehab team in Goodyear, AZ . Seeking 1-2 days/week of traditional PRN coverage.
Who we are looking for:
- Provide 1:1 patient care in 60-minute treatment sessions , focusing on functional rehabilitation for adults with neurological injuries
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of passionate, skilled therapists to focus on patient-centered outcomes
- Provide personalized care in an innovative outpatient setting utilizing the latest technology and equipment

Responsibilities
- Assist patients in exercise, ambulation, functional activities, and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist
- Assist Physical Therapist in the collection of outcome measures and completion of complex treatment procedures
- Educate patients, families, and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by Physical Therapist
- Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided
- Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the APTA Practice Act and Code of Ethics
- Perform other duties as assigned
