Electrical Foreman Position SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead crews on commercial and industrial projects. You will coordinate daily work, ensure safe practices, maintain quality, and keep projects moving on schedule. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the trade, communicates well, and can mentor a team.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise electricians on active job sites
Ensure all work meets safety standards and OSHA requirements
Review drawings, plan upcoming work, and coordinate with other trades
Attend GC coordination meetings on behalf of Icon Electric
Create short-term plans (weekly/3-week look ahead) to keep the job on track
Order materials and manage manpower/equipment needs
Track job progress and communicate updates to the PM and Superintendent
Perform daily quality checks and address issues quickly
Complete basic project documentation (daily logs, timekeeping, safety forms)
5+ years in electrical construction
At least 1 year of leadership experience (managing 5+ electricians)
OSHA 10 (required)
Strong understanding of NEC, electrical systems, and commercial/industrial installations
Ability to read blueprints, one-lines, and specs
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to stay organized, plan ahead, and mentor others
