Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Partnership Taxation Senior Manager to join our Client's tax practice in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will manage complex partnership tax engagements, lead technical tax projects, and provide strategic guidance to clients on partnership structures and tax planning opportunities. You will mentor junior team members while maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence and client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage partnership tax returns and compliance matters for mid-market to large clients
• Provide technical tax guidance on partnership structures, distributions, and entity-level planning strategies
• Develop and execute tax planning initiatives and recommendations for partnership clients
• Lead engagement teams and supervise staff on complex tax projects
• Maintain client relationships and serve as primary point of contact on assigned engagements
• Stay current with partnership tax regulations and communicate updates to the team
• Contribute to the growth and development of the partnership tax practice

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA license (active and in good standing)
• 7+ years of experience in partnership taxation or related tax advisory services
• Demonstrated expertise in partnership tax compliance, planning, and technical matters
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet tight deadlines
• Experience with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Taxation (MTax or equivalent)
• Big 4 or national accounting firm experience
• Experience managing and mentoring accounting professionals
• Knowledge of passthrough entity tax issues and investment partnerships

Must-Have Requirements

• Active CPA license
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on partnership tax experience
• Ability to work onsite/hybrid in Phoenix, AZ
