Billing Clerk
Description
Stardust Properties Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in the fast-paced real estate and mortgage industry, where you will play a vital role in managing billing processes and ensuring accurate financial records.
As a Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining billing records, and assisting with various administrative tasks related to finance and accounting. Your contribution will help ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, supporting our goal of providing exceptional service to our clients. We offer a competitive salary range of $29 to $31 per hour, along with opportunities for professional development.
Responsibilities
- Process and issue invoices to clients accurately and timely
- Maintain and update billing records and client information
- Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and client inquiries
- Prepare financial reports related to billing activities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Assist in the month-end closing processes
- Support the finance team with administrative tasks as needed
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus
- Familiarity with billing software or financial management systems is preferred
