Your Responsibilities in This Role

• Conducting thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic tests, and developing customized care plans
• Diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic illnesses either independently or in partnership with collaborating physicians
• Providing essential educational resources for patients and families regarding wellness, prevention, and effective disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies as permitted by your scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-up for patients and participating in chronic care management
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and cohesive patient care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed records in electronic medical systems (EMR)

Qualifications Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduate of a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Arizona
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent in your specialty
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or ability to acquire within three months)
