Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Chandler, AZ (Onsite) Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay: $24 - $27/hour (based on experience) Overview We're looking for a detail-driven Accounts Payable Specialist who thrives in a fast-moving environment and takes pride in being part of supporting a collaborative team. This role plays a key part in keeping financial operations running smoothly by ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time, while also supporting process improvements behind the scenes. • Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process in a high-volume setting
• Review and verify invoices against purchase orders and supporting documentation
• Accurately input invoice data and ensure timely payment processing
• Execute payments via ACH, wire transfers, and checks
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor issues
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding balances
• Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records
• Respond to vendor inquiries and internal payment questions with professionalism
• Support year-end reporting, including 1099 preparation and audit requests
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve billing and payment challenges
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency

What You Bring

• 4+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables required)
• Experience with ERP systems (Sage Intacct or similar preferred)
• Familiarity with 1099 reporting is a plus
• Retail or high-transaction AP experience is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
