Pay Range: $16.75 - $17.75 / hour

Helps keep community and surrounding areas in clean, orderly and well maintained condition by performing the following duties:

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
• Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Maintenance of outside grounds and parking areas which includes but is not limited to picking up litter and keeping walkways and driveways free of debris.
• Delivers messages. Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
• Assists housekeeping staff with heavy cleaning or moving of items.
• Picking up soiled linen and trash from housekeepers carts.
• Towing rolling trash bins to be emptied and compacted.
• Shampoo carpets , scrubbing floors using a rotatory machine or extractor
