Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 hours per week
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
Patient Ratio: 6:1
Float Pool Assignment – Must be willing to float

Position Overview:
The Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse provides direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This float pool role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to safely manage telemetry patients across multiple units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes

• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes

• Administer medications and treatments per protocol

• Delegate and supervise patient care activities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care

• Maintain compliance with documentation and safety standards

Requirements:

• Active Arizona RN license

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience

• Telemetry experience required to apply

• BLS and ACLS certifications

• Ability and willingness to float across units

• Availability to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

• Strong critical thinking and time management skills
